Date Night Fashion Ideas

My husband and I don’t go on very fancy dates, typically a casual lunch or dinner and a movie. I still like to up my fashion game a bit for date night, you know what I mean? Here are some ideas for winter date night fashion.

I’m wearing a top I designed and collaborated with Elegantees on in all of these outfits, The ASHLEIGH TOP! The top comes in ivory and gray and is ethically made by women rescued from sex trafficking in Nepal. It’s beautifully made from organic cotton.

I’m wearing both colors in size small. The top fits me just right, not too fitted or loose and is long enough to tuck or not. For reference, I’m 5’7″ and typically a small on top, size 28 or 6 on the bottom.

The jewelry is from Sela Designs, the nonprofit jewelry company I founded that donates 100% of profit to charity. The earrings featured are the Cora Leather earrings in Camel & Peach Kisses. This skirt is the best ever! It even has pockets and works in every season. Grab a pair of footless tights and voila, a perfect winter date night outfit. I’m wearing the Freida skirt in size small.

White jeans give me a glimmer of hope that Spring will come! Fresh & classy I love the high rise on these. I’m wearing my usual size 28.

Also worth mentioning: if you don’t do heels wedges are amazing! I’ve had these Tom’s wedges for years and I still love them!

Did someone say Monochromatic trend?! I’m here for it! Here’s my favorite white look for a winter date night. It pairs so well with camel leather!

Listen, I’m baring my very pale legs here, but if you live in a warmer climate this is a great option for a cool night out! You can’t go wrong with a classic A-line, knee-length skirt. Pair it with a great pair of booties in the Fall/Winter and Sandals in Spring/Summer.

This is my favorite date night outfit of them all! Distressed denim can be sexy, especially when paired with great heels, in this case, boots with a heel. And don’t get me started on a great bandana scarf! Casual, modern and sexy all the way.

I had to dig deep for my nearly 20-year-old leather jacket, but it is worth it! Sexy moto look with dark wash skinnies and black leather boots! Heck yes!

Size note: This brand denim has odd number sizing not by waist size. I’m wearing size 7 in these jeans.

An easy, go-to: dark high rise jeans and booties, but that wrapped scarf is another way to wear a bandana. I feel a little like a French GIrl in this outfit! Bonjour!
