WHAT IS TAGUA ANYWAY?
If you are new to Sela Designs you might not have heard of tagua nut jewelry before. Tagua nuts are the fruit of a palm tree that only grows in the Amazon Rainforest. It is a lot like ivory and very lightweight, making it easy to wear. Local artisans harvest, dye and slice tagua nuts, creating sustainable jobs and boosting local economies.
