FRONT TUCK
Feel like that classic sweater in your existing wardrobe needs an update? Try a half-tuck or a front tuck. This will give it a more modern feel. Pair it with some of your favorite accessories, and you are all set.
DISTRESSED DENIM
A great way to style sweaters is to pair them with distressed denim. It gives your outfit a relaxed look but also lightens up a heavy look.
Is it really cold where you live? Me too! Add leggings under your jeans if needed. I work from home so I don’t mind distressed jeans for winter on “warm” days (there are no really warm days during a WI winter).

STATEMENT EARRINGS
In my book, statement earrings are pretty much always a good idea, but especially when styling a sweater. Accessories make a world of difference, which also brings me to:

ADD A SCARF
A bandana scarf pairs beautifully with a sweater that has a lower neckline. Anchal Project is my go-to for scarves. They are ethically made & great quality.
And an extra little trick to styling cardigans when it’s really cold: wear a long sleeve bodysuit under. You can thank me later.

You also can’t go wrong with a big square or traditional scarf, especially if your sweater has a high or crew neckline. And paired with statement earrings, your outfit will look like you put in a ton of effort.

LAYER IT UP
A great v-neck sweater is classic. Every woman probably has at least one in her closet. Add a flannel shirt under for added warmth and interest. Incorporate that front tuck and great accessories for an easy outfit win.
Layering is perfect for those times you don’t want to wear a jacket. Get warm? Tie that sweater around your waist. Need an additional layer? That long sleeve bodysuit is hiding under there as well! You can’t even see it.
