Hello again! After a brief hiatus from blogging, I’m back with some fun outfits to share & new-to-me ethical brands to share. Not only am I thrilled about the wide leg pants trend, but add a mini-floral print and silky fabric and I’m all in. Let’s get to it – wide leg pants: 3 ways to style them.
Sizing info for reference: I’m 5’7″ with a long torso. I typically wear size 28 or 6 on the bottom and small on top. I’m wearing these pants in size medium and small in all of the tops.
*the BYTAVI Reverse Blouse and Wide Leg pants were gifted to me. However, I did not receive any other payment.

Well now, this is maybe the best faux jumpsuit EVER! I can’t get enough of this outfit. Let me first tell you about the company who made it, BYTAVI, and then we’ll talk fit & fabric.
BYTAVI makes their clothing ethically in Cambodia. The seamstresses work in a safe environment that favors quality over quantity. They receive a weekly fair wage, not a piece rate. The production facility closes on weekends, holidays & promotes healthy work/life balance. On top of all of that, lunch is provided on working days. BYTAVI uses remnant fabric leftover from other big fashion companies, which is a sustainable approach to creating new garments.
Now let’s talk fit and fabric. Both pieces are lightweight rayon. It has a lovely silky, breathable feel and drapes well. Wash in cold water and lay flat to dry. Easy enough.
I got my usual size small in the blouse, but I could have definitely sized up as I have wide shoulders. If in doubt I recommend sizing up. I got the wide-leg floral pants in size medium. According to the size chart, I was between sizes. The medium fits me well.

And if you need a reason to love this more – the blouse is reversible! The whole buttons up the back thing makes me so happy! It also adds to the versatility, which is another plus.

This combo is a match made in heaven. The Thom Kelly Popover is tencel fabric so it is lightweight and breathable. I’m wearing my usual size small for a roomy fit. I love Thom Kelly because they have the best quality.
The loafers were an ABLE sale find and they are perfect for Spring / Summer / Fall. I’m wearing my usual size and they fit just right even with the pointy toe.

I think this post is just getting better and better. This graphic tee + the pants is such a fun combo. I imagine wearing this on Fridays or Saturday morning to the Farmer’s market and stroll downtown. Just as comfy as leggings or lounge pants, but so much more personality and style IMO.
I’m wearing this graphic tee in my usual size small and it’s pretty roomy. If in doubt, size down. I love the cuffed sleeve detail.
