Here’s the thing: we all want to be comfortable, but not look like we just rolled out of bed. Amiright? Lounge pants are all the rage since we’ve all been spending so much time at home, but the trick is to wear pants with an elastic waist and make it fashion. It’s totally possible & easier than you think. Add a pattern to the mix? Why not? Let me show you how to style patterned lounge pants for women.
Sizing Info: for reference, I’m 5’7″. Typically I wear a size 6 or 28 on the bottom and size small on top.
The lounge pants I’m wearing are from Sudara’s punjammies line. Sudara provides living wage jobs for at-risk or survivors of Sex Trafficking in India. I’m wearing size small. I think the sizing is generous as I have plenty of room in these. For a more fitted look size down.
1. Go Classic

Pons Shoes
This is a go-to outfit for Spring and Summer. When it heats up during the day I lose the denim jacket and just go with the tank (this tank is so comfy made of bamboo). Adding the jacket & earrings dresses it up a bit to make it feel more put together. Also, pons shoes are the best when I didn’t have time for that much needed pedicure.
2. Oversized Top

Of all 5 outfits, this is my favorite. It’s such a great outfit for anything – WFH, SAHM, running errands, a coffee date or casual meeting. Nothing here is less than 100% on the comfort meter and yet, it’s a killer outfit. This sweater is the most versatile thing in my wardrobe right now and don’t get me started on the Daisy Earrings!
3. Pattern on pattern

Oh hey, same great earrings, same sandals, new tee. I love the pattern on pattern here. The colors give the outfit a monochromatic look, which is a win in my book. Oh and this tee supports Preemptive Love & all the good work they do with refugees in war torn areas. Basically, this outfit is saving the world. I’m in.
4. Color pops

One of the best parts about the pattern of these pants is that it’s small and subtle, not overly loud. You can pull out so many different colors. I love a great basic tee (see a bunch more ways I styled this one here) & the earrings that pull the ivory from the pants.
5. Button-up

This is how I would dress these lounge pants up a bit. Add a great pair of heels, a leather bag + statement earrings and you’re good to go. The classic button-up feels slightly elevated. It’s an outfit I’ve worn to a conference, meeting, and church.
