Lounge Wear Outfits to Work From Home

Loungewear that’s work appropriate? Can that be real? Yes! It does exist and I’m going to show you 6 lounge wear outfits to work from home in featuring the Ponte Legging Pants from American Giant.

The Ponte Legging Pants: all the comfort of leggings, but the thickness of a pant. This is lounge wear at its finest because it doubles as work wear. The quality is impeccable. They have a thicker waist band and one front pocket.

Sizing: the pants has number sizing. I’m wearing my usual size 6. I typically wear size small on top. I am 5’7″ and have a long torso.

1. Denim Jacket

Paired with a soft turtleneck sweater, denim jacket & great booties, the Ponte Legging Pants are perfect for the weekend, running errands, a park playdate or a zoom meeting.

Sizing & other notes: I’m wearing the turtle neck in my usual size small. Before this denim jacket I had no idea they could be so soft & still thick denim. My old one was stiff & rigid. This is a game changer for me! I’ve been wearing it far more than my old one. I’m wearing size small.

Boots are available in whole sizes only. I’m wearing a 7. My usual is 7.5. If you have wide feet size up.

2. Sweater

A classic combo – button-up + sweater is perfect for cool mornings and warm afternoons. This is definitely business appropriate for most work casual environments. Who will know your pants feel like leggings? No one unless you tell them.

Sizing notes: Both tops are my usual size small. My necklace is 20″ long. Boots are size 8. I also size up in Nisolo boots as they run narrow.

3. Vneck Pullover

This outfit right here is the comfiest combination I own. No joke. The v-neck pullover from Thom Kelly is the ultimate comfort + quality. I honestly wish every person could experience it. I’m wearing my usual size small. It has a slightly oversized fit. I also have this one and love it.

4. Scarf + Flannel

Does it get anymore Fall than this? I’m ready for the Apple Orchard, Pumpkin Patch or chasing my kids around. Zoom call first? No problem the scarf and earrings got me covered… literally.

Sizing notes: Another high-quality piece from American Giant, this premium slub tee has a relaxed fit. I’m wearing my usual size small. Flannel is also a small. My boots are 7.5, my usual size.

This is what we picture when we think of lounge wear. Amiright? My favorite thing about the Ponte Legging Pants is they can be typical lounge wear AND work wear. They literally work for everything. Trust me, I know. I wore them 4 days in a row last week for all the things.

Sizing notes: Sweatshirt is my usual size small. You could definitely size up in this for a more oversized look. Shoes are my usual size 7.5.
