Lev Sweater Jacket 9 Ways

Business attire just hit the next level of comfort with the creation of the sweater jacket. Combine that the modern, oversized fit of the Lev Apparel’s Madison Jacket and you have the perfect piece for transitioning from summer to fall. I don’t think there’s an outfit I couldn’t wear it with, but for time’s sake, I’ll just show you the Lev sweater jacket 9 ways.

Sizing notes: I’m 5’7″. I typically wear a small in tops & 6 or 28″ in bottoms. I got the Madison Jacket in my usual size small. Because of the oversized fit, if you are in between sizes I would size down.

THE JACKET! Let’s take a moment for this jacket! It’s soooo good! It’s from Lev Apparel, a small woman-owned business that employs at-risk women living in the slums New Dehli. It’s made from 100% double-knit cotton that is soft and comfortable. The quality is outstanding, which makes it a total win-win in my book.

Enough of that, now for the Madison sweater jacket 9 ways:

1. Shorts

Take those shorts up a notch! Perfect for zoom call appropriate on top & casual, comfy on bottom. Add some great earrings & layering necklaces and you are good to go.

Side notes: these are my favorite, comfy denim shorts. They are TTS. Don’t size up. Hurache sandals also stretch big time with wear. Don’t size up.

2. Monochromatic WHITE

Am I the only one who loves to break all the fashion rules? White all year long! Yes, please! I love the warmth the jacket adds for Fall especially. Not just literal warmth, but the color warmth of the jacket + mule combo. So good.

Sizing notes: jeans run big! I’m wearing my usual size 28, but could have sized down. Mules on the other hand run small. Size up!

3. Classic White Button Up

One of the biggest things we are wearing right now is loungewear, but what if that loungewear could also look professional? Yes, it’s possible and here it is.

I sized up to a medium in the Lev white button up, so I have plenty of room for movement. These pants, don’t even get me started – ponte pants that feel like leggings, but look like skinny dress pants. I also styled the jogger version of this pant here. The jacket once again steals the show to bring it all up a notch.

Side note: The Claire Earrings are always a classy, add too!

4. All Black

If we can wear all white we might as well try all black too, right? I love the texture detail of the brown belt to add another tone & break another one of those old fashion rules. 😉

Sizing notes: I love Warp + Weft’s straight leg jeans because they are thick, but soft and movable. They don’t stretch out or sag. I’m wearing my usual size 28. High quality, organic cotton tees are my jam – read more about my favorites here. I’m wearing size small.

5. Dress

The ultimate summer to fall outfit right here! I love this dress so much, but the jacket + boots just make it better. Fall is the best, amiright?

Sizing: the dress is my usual small & I have plenty of room it in. If you are between sizes, I would size down. Boots come in whole sizes. I’m typically a 7.5, but sized down to a 7 in these.

6. Jumpsuit

Jumpsuits are the best because it’s one piece – one and done! Add the perfect sweater jacket for chilly nights or to wear to the office. Again with that black + pops of brown combo, I’m here for it!

Sizing: the jumpsuit is size small. Mules noted above. The necklace is 30″ long, standard length for a long necklace. The choker necklace is 14″ long, but can be worn 15-16″ for a slightly lower look.

7. Chinos

Give me all the Fall vibes! Maroon earrings (click over to see the color better), rich green pants & the warm browns are so good together. Don’t be afraid to mix colors, especially with a few neutrals and a simple pattern. There are no more rules about the number of colors you can wear, just stick with tones that go well together.

Sizing notes: pants are my usual size 6. The rise is on these is pretty high, which I love, but take note if you have a short torso these might not be the pants for you. Tee is my usual size small. Boots run small, size up.

8. Stripes

I think these outfits get better as we go! Ha! I just love the classic feel of this outfit without the rigid structure of a typical blazer. The Madison jacket gives me the look with all the comfort of a sweatshirt. Yes, please.

Sizing notes: This button up is the highest quality, organic cotton & it feels soft like loungewear. I’m wearing a medium here because it was a sample for a photo shoot, but I would typically wear a small. Jeans are true to size. I’m wearing a 28. Boot sizing notes above.

9. Graphic Tee

I saved the best for last & I think I’ll be wearing this outfit every Friday from now until someone stops me. Can’t get enough of this pairing! I’d also love it with distressed denim, but this post is already pretty long! This whole look though, so great for a mom on the go!

Sizing notes: tee is my usual size small & has plenty of room. Jeans are my usual 28 and have a lot of stretch in the best way possible – no saggy buns here.

Whew! That’s it – the Lev Sweater Jacket 9 ways. I honestly had a hard time stopping at 9 because I couldn’t done about 10 more. This is the most versatile piece in my Fall / Winter / Spring wardrobe right now. I can’t sing it’s praises enough.
