Summer Capsule, Day 5 & 6

It’s seems strange to call this a Summer Capsule Wardrobe while temps are still in the low 60s throughout the Midwest, but it’s June and we are still dressing in layers. You can check out all of my 30 Piece Summer Capsule Wardrobe and more eco-friendly fashion outfits are here. Today I’m sharing my Summer Capsule, day 5 and 6 looks.

Summer Capsule, Day 5

Full disclosure: it was raining while I took these pictures so I didn’t exactly capture all of the angles. Oops. The top is a soft, linen tank from one of my favorite small businesses (as far as ethics go), Swahlee Co. Swahlee is definitely a slow fashion company worth supporting. The top runs TTS. Size up if you are between sizes.

No secret I love wide leg pants and a linen tencel blend is the comfiest fabric. It does wrinkle some, but far less than a 100% linen pant. I stuck with my usual size in these and the fit is great.

Really quickly, we have to talk about these block sandals! This is the first pair I’ve tried from Wilder and they are so cute! They are also well made and comfortable. After the first wear I had them broken in. Wilder only has whole sizes so I sized up based on their sizing chart (I even measured by foot) and the size is perfect. Bonus tip: check out their newsletter for helpful tips & a chance to win $100 gift card towards your shoes.

Another day, another pair of wide leg crop pants and of course a Tradlands sweater. I can’t help it, Tradlands quality cannot be denied. This sweater is my favorite yet. I did a full review here.

This old pair of Madewell fair trade jeans is highly coveted. I’ll link a similar pair below or you can try to hunt for them on Poshmark (I know for sure one person was successful in her hunt for them secondhand). I’ve had these for almost 4 years and they are still in near perfect condition. I stayed TTS and they are roomy since I typically size down from Madewell.
